Demolition of the B1-B3 basements of Mori 38 and the Masonic Building (TMC) appears to be starting. A wrecker is on the site that was not there last week.
According to the construction notices outside, the removal of noxious substances, in our case asphalt used for waterproofing, will continue until February 28, 2025.
The demolition work will run from October 27, 2024 to November 28, 2025.
This is very strange because the buildings only need several months to demolish (above ground demolition from completed by early August). Why do the basements take over a year to demolish?
The construction contractor has changed from Seibu Kensetsu to Ando Hazama Corporation.
The above ground demolition rested only on Sundays, now demolition is only on the five week days.
The garden is completely intact.
No move has been made to start the demolition of Mori 39. There is not even a demolition notice there.
