Work continues on our old site, six days a week.
Workers yesterday were busy drilling and pouring concrete.
According to Ando Hazama’s construction update notice, work at present centers around demolition and solidification of liquefied soil with concrete.
Demolition is still focused on the shafts above ground, and the surface of where Mori-Masonic 38 has barely been touched.
Meanwhile, a notice on what was formerly the entrance to the garden notes that the construction office of the “Shibakoen 4-Chome Project” ( our site) has moved to the third floor of the Hoshina 保科 Bldg, which is next to the far side (towards Akabanebashi) of Mori-Masonic 39.
This building still has a tenant on the first floor, but otherwise seems to be largely empty and old (likely 1960s) and probably intended for eventual demolition.
